Clear expectations around payments.
This policy explains how cancellations, refunds and payments are generally handled for Raiseonix services.
Last updated: October 2026
1. Overview
Raiseonix provides professional digital and technology services, including website development, e-commerce, Shopify, Zoho implementation, business automation, consulting, process improvement and digital marketing.
Because these services often involve planning, design, development, configuration, research, implementation and time-based work, cancellation and refund terms may depend on the stage of the project and the specific agreement with the client.
Important: A project proposal, quotation, statement of work or separate service agreement may contain specific payment and cancellation terms. Where such terms exist, they should be read together with this policy.
2. Project Payments
Project payments may be structured according to the agreed project scope and delivery model.
Depending on the engagement, this may include:
Advance Payment
An initial payment may be required before project work begins.
Milestone Payments
Larger projects may be divided into agreed development or delivery milestones.
Recurring Services
Ongoing support, maintenance or marketing services may operate on a recurring payment arrangement.
Custom Arrangement
Other payment structures may be agreed in writing for a particular engagement.
3. Cancellation
A client may request cancellation of a project or service by contacting Raiseonix through the agreed communication channel.
When a cancellation request is received, we may review:
- The amount of work already completed.
- Approved milestones or deliverables.
- Work currently in progress.
- Third-party costs already incurred.
- Licences, subscriptions or services purchased specifically for the project.
- Any cancellation terms contained in the project agreement.
Cancellation does not automatically mean that all amounts previously paid will be refundable.
4. Refund Eligibility
Refunds, where applicable, will be assessed based on the specific project and the terms agreed with the client.
Where work has not yet started and no non-refundable third-party costs have been incurred, a refund may be considered according to the applicable agreement.
Where substantial work has already been completed, the amount refundable may be reduced to account for completed work, committed resources and applicable costs.
Where the project has been fully completed and delivered, payments will generally not be refundable unless otherwise required by applicable law or agreed in writing.
5. Non-Refundable Costs
Certain costs may not be refundable once incurred. These may include, depending on the project:
- Domain registration or renewal fees.
- Hosting charges already paid.
- Software licences or subscriptions.
- Paid plugins, themes, applications or extensions.
- Third-party service charges.
- Advertising or campaign expenditure already spent.
- Other external costs specifically incurred for the client's project.
6. Third-Party Services
Raiseonix may use or configure third-party platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Zoho products, hosting providers, payment gateways, domain providers, communication platforms, APIs, plugins and other software.
Payments made directly to third-party providers are generally governed by the provider's own refund, cancellation and subscription policies.
Raiseonix cannot guarantee refunds for third-party services where the third-party provider does not offer a refund.
7. Digital Deliverables
Digital services may involve deliverables such as websites, designs, configurations, workflows, integrations, documentation, content, automation systems or other digital assets.
Once a deliverable has been completed or delivered according to the agreed scope, cancellation or refund requests will be considered based on the project agreement and the work already performed.
A change of preference after approval or delivery does not automatically create a right to a full refund.
8. Scope & Revisions
Projects may include a defined number of revisions or review rounds depending on the agreed scope.
Requests that materially change the original project requirements may be treated as additional work rather than a defect or failure to deliver.
Where a client requests significant changes after work has been completed, the appropriate approach may be additional development, a revised scope or a new project agreement.
9. Refund Request Process
To request a cancellation or refund review, please contact Raiseonix with the relevant project information.

10. Exceptions
Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or limit rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Exceptional circumstances may be reviewed individually, including circumstances involving technical issues, duplicate payments, incorrect charges or other matters requiring correction.
Any exception or special refund arrangement should be confirmed in writing.
For project-specific work: Your proposal, quotation, invoice or service agreement may contain more specific cancellation and refund terms. Those terms should be reviewed before payment.
